Sphynxxi sprouted from a passion for regal expression and eloquent jewellery. Launched in 2022 by sole creator and owner of calloused hands, Alana Smith.
Drawing inspiration from eclectic tribal designs fused with ancient monarchial tones and textures to present a jewellery line that pushes grand organic authenticity. No two pieces are the same. All hand crafted by yours truely, down to every single chain link. The links are hand wrapped and hand cut to honour the slow process of thoughtful creation.

From desk to bust, I have strived to reduce the impact of waste on our planet by upcycling materials and using pure, organic materials sourced by other Australian small businesses and locally on Gadigal Country (Syd, Aus).
Intricacies of Sphynxxi's One -Of- A- Kind adornments intertwines natures gifts from bones and stones to traditional weaves and patterns from various cultures, to provide passionate accessories for the decorative, expressive souls.
From a young age, I was captivated by the way jewellery could transcend its role as mere adornment, evolving into a powerful symbol of healing, protection, and self-expression. My journey with jewellery began as a personal quest — not just for beauty, but for something deeper, something transformative. Over time, I began to understand jewellery as not only a reflection of my external identity, but also as a powerful force capable of nourishing my spirit, guarding my heart, and acting as a reminder of my own inner strength.
The Birth of a Belief
Growing up, I always had a strong connection to the symbolism behind objects. Whether it was the birthstone of a loved one, a family heirloom passed down through generations, or a handcrafted piece of jewellery that seemed to "speak" to me, each piece I wore felt like an extension of my soul. It wasn't long before I started to see jewellery in a new light — as medicine, a way to heal, protect, and enhance my well-being.
Jewellery became a way to embody my intentions. Each gemstone, each charm, each design held its own unique vibration that interacted with my energy, offering a subtle yet potent influence. I learned about the metaphysical properties of various stones and realised that wearing certain crystals could soothe anxiety, promote clarity, or ground me in moments of chaos. Jewellery, I began to believe, wasn’t just for beautifying the body; it was for nurturing the spirit.
Jewellery as Spiritual Armor
In time, I began to view jewellery as more than just a remedy for my emotions; it became my armor. In a world that often feels chaotic, overwhelming, and even hostile, jewellery can be an invisible shield that keeps us grounded. My intention is to create personal adornments that double as a spiritual defense mechanisms — a way to protect your heart, your energy, and your essence.
Each piece serves as a protective talisman. Jewellery isn’t just a fashion statement, its spiritual armor — a force field that shields you from external disturbances while allowing your inner light to shine.
There’s also something deeply empowering about the act of choosing and wearing jewellery. It’s a conscious decision to claim the energies you need and to declare that you are worthy of care, love, and protection. Wearing Sphynxxi pieces is like donning a suit of armour, not only to guard against others, but to safeguard your own sacred space.

Over time, I came to see my body as an altar, a sacred vessel that carries spirit through the world. Just as an altar holds precious offerings, our bodies deserves to be honoured and adorned with pieces that uplift and empower you. Jewellery is the offering we make to our body and spirit — the altar upon which I place my intentions, my dreams, and my deepest truths.
The act of adorning yourself with jewellery is a personal ritual, a sacred practice that reminds you of your worth, of your divine connection, and of your commitment to your own healing.

Through my own experiences with jewellery, I’ve come to believe that jewellery is more than just an object; it’s a conduit for transformation.
